ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an opportunity for a Part time Registered Nurse for a Maternity Leave contract, to join our team based on the Gold Coast.
Reporting to the Nurse in Charge, you will be expected to provide the highest standard of service to our patients and Radiologists whilst being responsible for providing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide a high standard of care and service to our patients, technical staff and Radiologists
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are always understood and observed in the workplace
• Admission, monitoring and recovery of patients undergoing a variety of interventional procedures such as biopsy’s, vascular access devices, pain management, stents and drainages These are performed across multiple modalities such as Ultrasound, CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine
• PICC line insertion (training will be provided)
• Working across multiple Gold Coast locations.
• Sound knowledge and application for post procedure care, recovery and discharge.
• Participate in an on-call roster
