At High Street Health Hub we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our team in response to our growing community. Responsibilities:
THIS ROLE IS TO PROVIDE:
Quality and accessible primary health nursing care and services Patient interventions and treatment within the Medical Centre Support for GP’s, admin, and community teams by working closely together.
KEY TASKS:
You will be an integral part of the Nursing team responsible for operational aspects of the practice including:
- Triage and assessment
- Education and long-term conditions management
- Smears and Sexual health
- Immunisations
- Wound care
- IV infusions
- Phlebotomy
- Travel medicine
- Cryotherapy Preferred experience:
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years practice nursing experience.
- Authorised Vaccinator certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Qualified cervical smear taker (preferred but not essential)
- Advantage working with software Medtech32
- All applicants must hold a current New Zealand Nursing Council registration, current APC and current CPR certificate.
