We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team, delivering exceptional nursing care and support within the community.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

This role is pivotal in enhancing the lives of our clients through the efficient and effective delivery of professional nursing care, focusing on clinical governance and complex care in NDIS and aged care settings. You will be at the heart of ensuring that our services not only meet but exceed professional and industry standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Provide personalised nursing care in line with care plans and medical directives.
  • Lead, supervise, and provide clinical support to staff, enhancing the quality of care.
  • Working with or under the guidance of medical practitioners and Allied Health professionals
  • Medication Administration and Complex Clinical Care e. palliative care, bowel care/suppositories, catheter care, stoma care, oxygen and more
  • Monitoring and communicating on the customer’s wellbeing and reporting on progress of customers
  • Ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Care’s policy and procedures, legislative requirements and program specific guidelines (i.e. DVA Community Nursing)
  • Providing training, coaching and guidance to Community Support Professionals, Enrolled Nurses and Support Staff/Case Managers as required
  • Conducting skills assessments of Community Support Professionals performing complex care services as required
  • Demonstrating a commitment to best practice and evidence of continued professional development
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training opportunities when required
