Description:
Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital
As a Registered Nurse (PACU and Anaesthetic) or Anaesthetic Technician you will be responsible for the provision of safe and compassionate clinical care, with special regard to all types of anaesthesia and maintenance of associated equipment.

Our Recovery and Anaesthetics Unit provide excellent clinical care at all stages of the perioperative journey, from pre-surgery, in theatre and post-surgery. The departments are responsible for the provision of patient care, with special regards to all types of anaesthesia and maintenance of associated equipment whilst supporting and promoting the Mission and values of St John of God Health Care
The Position
- Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
- Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
- Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
- As a Registered Nurse, supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff.
- Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse; or Certificate IV and/or Diploma Qualification in Anaesthetic Technology; and a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have demonstrated competence in specialised function, anaesthetics or PACU, an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

The Benefits
- Salary: $72,571 - $95,497 plus 11% superannuation
- Full-time, part-time positions available.
