YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Recovery.
Your understanding of scope of practice and positive attitude will enable you to work effectively alongside our team of professionals and independently as required.
Essential:
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience in an acute care / perioperative environment desired.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team
REQUIREMENTS
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
Responsibilities:
North Shore Private Hospital is seeking experienced Recovery Registered Nurses to join our team. You will work with the support and guidance of the NUM and Recovery team to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with our Ramsay core values.
Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to -
- Maintaining a high level of nursing care to all patients within the unit;
- Assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients; and
- Monitoring the condition of patients post procedures and reporting changes to relevant manager and Anaesthetist / Surgeon / Physician.
- Will participate in an On-Call rotating roster including weeknights and weekends
