Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE…

We are looking for a Recovery Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Services team. With an outstanding reputation, some of the most skilled and well-regarded doctors and specialists in Adelaide, state-of-the-art equipment and modern facilities, Burnside Hospital is one of Adelaide’s most popular private hospitals.
You must hold a current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

You will be responsible for delivering safe contemporary care to patients, within the SSPU, and be accountable for:

  • Delivering consistently high standard of clinical care and practices
  • Ensuring quality patient-centred services and patient satisfaction is achieved at all times
  • maintaining a physically safe and culturally sensitive clinical environment for all patients, their families and staf

To be successful in the role you will need to possess:

  • Experience in a similar role within the Perioperative surgical setting
  • Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • An advanced level of professionalism and an innovative mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with health care consumers in a professional and confident manner
  • Willingness to embrace and demonstrate the values of Burnside Hospital
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work with a willingness to learn
  • A commitment to continuous performance improvement and act as a professional role mode
