An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 staff nurses to join the team in the ever developing Same Day Emergency Care service.
SDEC has evolved from the ambulatory care service, its main aim is to reduce hospital admissions and improve patient safety and satisfaction.
SDEC sees a wide range of patients from UTC, A&E and GP’s with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, we aim to streamline the patients journey by delivering assessment, diagnosis and a treatment plan in the same day.
You will be a motivated and enthusiastic nurse with a desire to work in fast paced environment.
You will be engaged to deliver excellent nursing care, planning providing and maintaining the highest clinical standards.
Developing and enhancing your knowledge and skills, collaboratively working with the multi-disciplinary team.
Our Organisation
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping.
We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
