Description:

Fantastic opportunities are available for highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join the dynamic team within the Oncology at a private hospital located in Wollongong. Permanent Part-Time opportunities are available.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current registration with the AHPRA;
  • At least 2 years of experience in Oncology;
  • Competency in chemotherapy administration;
  • Completion of an Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course would be advantageous, but not essential;
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Demonstrated understanding of current relevant guidelines, regulations and standards;
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety;
  • Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, Enrolled Nurses (ENs), and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
  • Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
