Description:
Fantastic opportunities are available for highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join the dynamic team within the Oncology at a private hospital located in Wollongong. Permanent Part-Time opportunities are available.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with the AHPRA;
- At least 2 years of experience in Oncology;
- Competency in chemotherapy administration;
- Completion of an Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course would be advantageous, but not essential;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Demonstrated understanding of current relevant guidelines, regulations and standards;
- You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, Enrolled Nurses (ENs), and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
- Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
