Description:
Excellent opportunities exist for experienced and passionate Scrub Scout Registered Nurses to join a supportive and dedicated Perioperative Department that is expanding with 2 new theatres opening soon at a private hospital in Sydney. Full-time and permanent part-time positions are available.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- At least 2 years of post-graduate acute hospital experience;
- At least 1 year of experience in a perioperative service area;
- Specialty experience highly regarded;
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications highly regarded;
- This role will require you to participate in the operating theatre “on call” roster as required.

Responsibilities:
You will join a thriving team and contribute to the vision for the Perioperative Service to be recognised as an innovative and progressive centre of excellence in Perioperative Nursing through its commitment to providing a superior quality service to achieve best practice outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a high level of nursing care for all patients within the unit;
- Assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients;
- Monitoring the condition of patients during procedures and reporting changes to the relevant manager and Anaesthetist / Surgeon / Physician.
