Responsibilities:
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are currently offering Visa Sponsorship opportunities for Registered Nurses at our our brand new, state of the art aged care residence, Wagga Wagga Community Aged Care, based in Turvey Park.
We are looking for Registered nurses who will strive to maintain and enhance the health and well-being of our residents while offering them dignity, safety, and independence. Specifically for this role, you will need to be able to explain complex clinical matters to incoming residents and their representatives and to be able to assess and document each resident’s care needs.
The salary for this role is between $88,000 - $100,000 depending on shift times and allowances.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
To be considered for this role, ideally we are looking for:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated aged care experience in pre-admissions
- Experience in assessments and developing care plans
- Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope
- Consider physical, social and psychological requirements
- Be able to effectively communicate complex care plan needs to incoming residents and their representatives.
- Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs of our residents
- An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- An understanding of the Australian National Aged Care Classification funding model (ANNAC)
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
