  • Maintain appropriate oversight of Learning governance requirements
    The role of the Regulatory Compliance Lead is pivotal in ensuring Suncorp’s adherence to regulatory compliance requirements across various domains, including training, recruitment, performance management, and safety. This includes developing and delivering compliance training programs to meet customer and legislative mandates, such as RG146, RG206, and Responsible Manager training. Acting as the subject-matter expert, the role collaborates with policy owners to support ongoing compliance through effective governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Learning Allocation Governance approach for all regulatory learning, ensuring adherence to standards and effective resource distribution
  • Respond promptly to regulatory-related requests concerning training, including external audits and specified internal audit inquiries
  • Manage and monitor supplier relationships to guarantee high quality and service levels, maintaining robust communication and performance standards
  • Support and guide relevant 1LoD teams in maintaining annual training plans and CPD activities in OLS and Kaplan, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Provide specialist advice and input to Training Plan Owners, contributing to the development and enhancement of Training Plan Frameworks
  • Develop and produce cyclical learning governance dashboards for key stakeholders, utilizing relevant systems and processes to support effective governance and monitoring
