• Bachelor’s degree, professional certificate, or equivalent experience in regulatory matters (e.g., CIPP/C, CAMS, etc.).
• 5 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, or operational experience, preferably in the life and health insurance industry.
• Familiarity with OSFI E-13, AML/ATF, Privacy, and general understanding of applicable governing legislation and regulatory guidelines.
• Implemented a risk assessed inventory of regulatory requirements using a commercial software package / other means.
• Exercises discretion in dealing with issues of a sensitive nature.
• Strong project management and time management skills
