OUR CLIENT:

Our Client is a leading financial institution with presence in Europe, US and Asia. Currently, they are looking for a Regulatory Compli ance, V P and this person will be responsible for establishing and implementing a robust compliance program to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for handling submissions, regulatory enquiries, audits and maintain good working relationship with the regulatory authorities, including coordination for any regulator’s on-site inspection, if required；
• Lead and support applications for Fintech-related business licenses in jurisdictions where the organisation conducts its international businesses；
• Provide sound advice and recommendations to relevant stakeholders on matters pertaining to regulatory and licensing issues for the licensed payment institutions；
• Identify and manage compliance and regulatory risks, act as a point of escalation for any policy and regulatory breaches to senior management；
• Responsible for formulating, reviewing, and maintaining compliance framework, policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws and regulations；Conduct periodic internal compliance trainings and compliance risk assessments.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance; or equivalent work experience;
• At least 7 - 12 years of relevant compliance, regulatory or similar experience;
• Strong regulatory/compliance knowledge and skills;
• Knowledge of Fintech, payment institutions, payment systems, and similar legal and regulatory requirements in Singapore;
• Team player and ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines;
• Experience in liaising with Singapore regulators preferred;
• Experience with e-commerce, payments or financial services preferred;
• Some travelling to be expected.Knowledge of capital market services licencees regulatory requirements preferred.
