WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • 3+ years experience in general claims management
  • Stakeholder management experience in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the development of board papers and reporting.
  • Strong analytical ability and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in insurance operations with implementing change to manage obligationsWell developed and demonstrated understanding of the legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations to operate in the FSR environment

Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate and undertake action to support the risk maturity strategic program of work and embed work health and safety practices

This requires an understanding of the regulatory landscape and processes within motor claims, the ability to interpret regulations and implement compliance processes.

  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain up to date documentation of all business activities underway to uplift the risk and control environment
  • Generate reports and performance on progress
  • Risk assessment and analysis
  • Identify potential risks as input into planning responses
  • Collaborate with teams to conduct risk assessments and build out detail of the program of work
  • Training and Awareness
  • Raise awareness of the importance of risk program and required activity
  • Organise workshops, run workshops and collate output into central registers
  • Delivery of Work identified within the program
  • Co-ordination of resources to deliver requirements identified
  • Undertaking activities to deliver on the work – completion of documentation required under risk framework, ensuring processes established for regular reviews,
  • Organising and running workshops to document controls and collating
  • Identifying gaps and work activity required to close
  • Developing detailed activity plan to address – and continued reporting on progress
  • Work Health and Safety
  • Working with WHS, review insights from investigations, develop uplift program of work and deliver
  • Co-ordinate and support delivery of uplift program for commercial sites
  • Regulatory and Compliance
  • Stay current with regulatory requirements and ensure response arrangements have regard to obligations. Eg Code of Practice, WH&S, CHAFS
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders
  • Provide updates and reports on the status as needed
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure alignment
  • Leadership
  • Leadership guidance and support of Safety Co-ordinator in delivering required actions
