Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Looking for up and coming Regulatory Specialists! Please apply if you have; - 2 or more years experience working within Regulatory or Trade and Transaction Reporting roles (banking or buy-side experience both acceptable). - Coverage of (and expertise in at least one of) EMIR, SFTR or MIFID II. - A strong data manipulation skill set will stand out (VBA, SQL, Macros). - Ability to foster internal and external relationships.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years’ experience working in a financial reporting or controls environment
• Experience in the regulatory reporting environment
• Overall (end to end) understanding and/or working experiences of exchange and CCP services

RESPONSIBILITIES

• EMIR Transaction, Position, Valuation and Collateral Reporting
• SFTR Reporting
• MiFID Reporting
• Submitting other regulation reports
• Production of timely and accurate MIS
• Static data maintenance
• Ongoing analysis of the data submitted to improve the pairing and matching rate for clients
• Maintain procedures for the different reporting services
• Challenge current practices and procedures and develop and implement new procedures to
• Enhance the reporting and controls process as necessary
• Respond to client queries & resolve any issues

SKILLS SET AND CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR ROLE

• Knowledge of MiFID, EMIR and SFTR would be a strong advantage
• Analytical and problem solving skill set
• High attention to detail
• Good skills in working with PCs and on-line systems, especially MS Excel and MS Access
• Ability to follow procedures, identify problems and follow up on resolution
• Ability to manage a task from start to finish and on a timely basis
• Good verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Internal and external customer service skills
