Job description:
Following the successful establishment of the Bank´s European headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG is seeking to strengthen its European Regulatory Reporting team with a Regulatory Reporting Officer (m/f/d).
This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious firm at an exciting time and contribute to the expansion of the pan-European Regulatory Reporting function. Working in the Regulatory Reporting team, you will contribute to the production of regulatory and prudential reports for BaFin and the Bundesbank (COREP, FINREP, Liquidity, AnaCredit, etc.).

Your role

  • Ensuring timely, accurate and complete regulatory reporting and establishing a framework used to control and monitor the quality of the data contained in the Bank’s reporting.
  • Continuous enhancement of processes based on your observations and root cause analysis.
  • Direct interaction with regulators and auditors in own area of expertise
  • Working in close cooperation with the Data Management department of the Bank in setting up an effective data governance and oversight at Bank level.
  • Paying special attention to the quality of credit risk data and playing a key leading role in the production of the AnaCredit report.
  • Keeping track of new developments in regulatory requirements.
  • Managing large data sets and in particular active involvement in the Bank’s project to set up a regulatory reporting data warehouse.

Profile description:

Your profile

  • Third-level degree, ideally in Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in regulatory reporting for banks or in data management.
  • Knowledge of capital requirement rules (CRR and CRD) as well as EBA guidelines.
  • Experience in implementing projects related to regulatory reporting and data management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • A proven self-starter, eager to learn with a strong commitment and keen to take on responsibility.
  • Excellent command of English, with excellent writing and presentation skills; French would be a plus.
  • Excellent IT skills (Excel, VBA and SQL).
  • Knowledge of Abacus360 for regulatory reporting and of Avaloq would be a plus.

As the right candidate you will be self-motivated and pro-active with the ability to work independently to tight deadlines and complete set tasks whilst managing multiple priorities.
