QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Relevant degree in a Scientific/Technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in regulatory, quality assurance, or research, development, and analysis (RD&A).
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and self-motivation skills.Ability to work independently, pay attention to detail, and adapt to business requirements.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as a regulatory scientist supporting scientific affairs steering group and liaising with a whole range of different areas of the business e.g. R&D, Commercial and a wide range of different technologies. It is a great opportunity to develop networks and relationships within the industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Partnering & Strategy Focus:
  • Supporting business growth plans through strategic alignment.
  • Assisting in embedding the regulatory operating model.
  • Collaborating with Global Business Services fulfillment colleagues to address customer queries.
  • Innovation & Ideation:
  • Providing regulatory interpretation and advice to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Compiling outputs from Regulatory Affairs Steering Group (RASG) meetings for wider communication.
  • Managing administrative aspects related to RASG meetings and assigned actions.
  • Internal Stakeholders:
  • Handling emerging issues and escalations.
  • Serving as a point of contact for internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting in training and onboarding regulatory colleagues and other functions.
  • Documentation and Communication:
  • Reviewing documentation and project trackers.
  • Preparing PowerPoint slides to simplify complex information for wider communication.
  • Analyzing large volumes of data for potential impacts of upcoming legislative updates.
  • Customer/External Engagement:
  • Keeping RASG champions informed about industry regulations and trends.
  • Participating in trade associations where applicable.
  • Proactively engaging with specific customers and handling crisis management.
