- Salary between $75,000 - $100,000 + Super (dependent on experience)

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their team as a Rehabilitation Consultant in Canberra, ACT.
As an established provider with over 20 years of experience, our client values respect, professionalism, and integrity as the foundation of a successful provider/client relationship.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist looking to advance their career in the field of occupational rehabilitation and develop their skills.
Full-time positions are available however part-time will be considered.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in occupational rehabilitation, including experience in providing rehabilitation services to injured workers and conducting worksite assessments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel to clients’ workplaces
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the physical, psychological and social needs of clients
- Design, implement and monitor rehabilitation programs for injured workers to achieve successful return to work outcomes
- Perform worksite assessments and ergonomic assessments
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, employers, medical practitioners and insurers
- Provide advice to clients and their support networks on injury management, prevention and self-management strategies
- Conduct case conferences and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to rehabilitation
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff and participate in the ongoing professional development of the team
