Responsibilities:
We are seeking Rehabilitation Counsellors on either a permanent full-time or part-time basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a caseload of clients with psychological or physical injuries
- Complete initial assessments and identify any barriers preventing the client from returning to work
- Set individualised goals and organise appropriate interventions
- Conduct vocational assessments and provide vocational counselling
- Attend medical appointments
- Complete case notes and reports
- Facilitate a safe and timely return to work
- Communicate effectively with clients and medical professionals
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Counselling or Masters of Rehabilitation Counselling or Master of Psychology
- Full or associate membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor or AHPRA Provisional Psychologist registration
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Full Australian drivers’ licence and reliable vehicle
- National police check
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong stakeholder management skills
