In this position as an Underwriting Support Executive, you will be required to assist with ensuring the operations meet with the FCA and regulator requirements and that they are conducted with integrity.
You will ensure that conflicts of interest are identified and managed.
You will be required to assist the Managers and Underwriters to carry out all tasks relating to the underwriting and reinsurance of the business in order to provide appropriate customer focused products and maximise profitability, always bearing in mind the relationship between risk and return in respect of all underwriting activities.
The ideal incumbent will be responsible to establish and develop business relationships with the businesses intermediaries, agents and business partners in order to secure business portfolios that meet with the Business Plans and which are effectively handled to reduce the risk of mal-administration in the distribution process. You will also liaise in a timely manner with internal departments to ensure requests for information, feedback or guidance are dealt with effectively and efficiently.

* Office is centrally located at CBD

skills and experience required

• 1+ years of experience in handling reinsurance
• Strong MS Excel skills and ability to pick up new system/software quickly
• Experience and knowledge of the reinsurance market and fast learner
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organisation and communication skills
