Responsibilities:
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Relationship Director (RD) will be expected to source, assess, underwrite and take to completion property development loans and work with the Portfolio Management team to oversee the management of a portfolio of clients.
To build successful working relationships with external contacts such as brokers, customers, surveyors and solicitors as well as internal teams such as administrators, credit risk and finance to ensure all lending requirements are satisfied.
The SRD must ensure that development lending undertaken is done so on a responsible and commercial basis with professional principles which place the client at the heart of its activities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- New Business Generation in line with budgetary requirements
- Effectively manage a pipeline of cases through to completion
- Establish & maintain principle relationship with key Development Finance brokers/introducers
- Customer Focus
- Responsibly serve clients needs whilst delivering a risk adjusted return
- Embrace the principles of Treating Customers Fairly and responsible lending in all decision making
- People Management/Leadership
- Adherence to the promotion of Shawbrook values and good behavior and encouraging strong team collaboration
- Risk Management
- Ensure a good understanding of all the Banks policies, procedures and compliance guidelines, installing the principles into daily practice
