REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Expertise in using JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
  • Team management skills
  • Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
  • Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system
  • Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools
  • Good understanding of Blue/Green Deployments, experience in creating Release Metrics
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to deal with different teams on a daily basis and drive the releases to completion
  • Understanding and experience with AWS infrastructure
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Nice to have CMS experience
  • Experience working in large scale projects

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Computer Science or an equivalent degree
  • 5+ years of experience

Responsibilities:

  • Plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle
  • Communicate project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams
  • Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates
  • Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope schedule, and quality of the release is not affected
  • Track the progress and find issues, if any. Always work to improve and refine the release processes
  • Make sure that the release is planned, according to the requirements and budget
  • Schedule the release readiness reviews, Go No Go Meetings before deployment and milestone reviews after each release
  • Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule
  • Plan and give weekly updates on the release activities
  • Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully
  • Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software
  • Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies
  • Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management
  • May provide off-hours support as per the needs of the project
