WHAT DOES A SUCCESSFUL RELEASE TRAIN ENGINEER/SENIOR SCRUM MASTER DO AT FISERV?

Fiserv EMEA GBS team has embarked on our Product and Tech transformation last year and as part of this we are aligning closely to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). To facilitate the transformation, we are looking for Release Train Engineers (RTE)/ Senior Scrum Masters to work with our scrum teams and Agile release trains.

Responsibilities:

  • Use dashboards to track, verify & report content readiness against priorities and baseline capacity of teams
  • Facilitate meetings between Product and Technology teams if required to address impediments regarding content readiness
  • Facilitate the PI planning for Product Area and Technology teams on the day of PI planning
  • Participate in PI planning management reviews to ensure dependencies are being understood and resolved
  • Track PI progress using dashboards and help team to prepare for PI steerco
  • Facilitate periodic synchronization events within Product Area such as Scrum of Scrums/ART sync, iteration demos and System demos
  • Coach the Product and Tech teams in agile processes and our delivery methodology
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve the process to make it lean and efficient
