ÜBER DIE STELLE
We are looking for a Reliability Engineer for our Business Area Wind, Offshore, Engineering, WTG System Engineering. The WTG System Engineering team is looking for an innovative, experienced Reliability Engineer and team player, to support creating visibility and opportunities. You will be a part of the WTG System Engineering team and will work close together with the different WTG specialists as well as stakeholders in the whole organization, such as Asset Management, Asset Integrity Management, Supply Chain and the Main Components Exchange team.
DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION AS RELIABILITY ENGINEER
To provide reliability expertise into operating and new wind turbine assets, including;
- Perform reliability assessment of major and minor components of wind turbines in operation.
- Participate in technical due diligences and evaluate various designs of future WTG’s during development phase.
- Be responsible for providing failure rates for budgets and lifetime extension projects.
- Provide insight into component reliability for FMECA/maintenance strategy and spare parts decision making.
- On an ad-hoc basis, support the resolution of technical issues/tickets, by performing reliability assessments.
- Develop and implement models and processes to improve reliability analysis, including data collection.
- Promote and share knowledge and insight with colleagues in reliability analysis work.
QUALIFICATIONS AS RELIABILITY ENGINEER
- M.Sc Eng. Mechanical/Electrical or in Mathematics with focus on reliability analysis.
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience – preferable Offshore wind or other energy sector.
- An extensive knowledge and experience in post-processing of field failures data to analyze component failure modes and predict future failure rates using Weibull analysis, with support of Python, R, or similar programming languages or software.
- An extensive knowledge and experience in failure rate modelling, as well as in failure rate sensitivity analysis to support the internal evaluation of WTG’s.
- Experienced in Excel modelling and Power Point presentation.
- Knowledge of the SAP system is a plus.
- Experience in FMECA, maintenance strategy optimization and stock optimization, is a plus.
- Good English language skills both oral and written.
- Flexible approach to travel activity.
