What You Will Do
The position is responsible for:
Performing and documenting complex technical functions relating to test, quality control, layout fabrication, modification and assembly of mechanical equipment and/or components. You will also construct, inspect, calibrate, adjust, test, document and maintain equipment, components, devices and systems while using knowledge of algebra, trigonometry and software programming to maximize capabilities. Additionally, you will partner with engineers, supervisors, and production personnel to ensure all operational imperatives are met within the areas of safety, quality, production, and new products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute reliability testing plans to ensure product quality and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve product reliability issues
  • Maintain and update reliability testing equipment and software
  • Analyze test data and provide recommendations for product improvements
  • Create and maintain documentation related to reliability testing procedures and results
  • Perform and document complex technical functions related to test, quality control, layout fabrication, modification, and assembly of mechanical equipment and/or components.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, developmental or test technician duties in areas such as manufacturing, maintenance, quality testing, engineering where considerable judgment and initiative are required to solve problems and make recommendations.
  • Construct, inspect, calibrate, adjust, test, document, and maintain equipment, components, devices, and systems.
  • Use sophisticated test and measurement equipment associated with a specific discipline.
  • Read and understand technical documentation.
  • Carry out advanced test set up and oversee coordination activities with inside and outside personnel.
  • Use knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and software programming to maximize capabilities.
  • Partner with engineers, supervisors, and production personnel to ensure all operational imperatives are met within the areas of safety, quality, production, and new products.
  • Provide work instruction for other lab technicians, assure adequate lab supplies are available, and coordinate with outside labs performing testing.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Min. 2 years of related experience
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
