ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Catering Administrator to join our Operations team located at our Coppabella Village located in the Bowen Basin, approximately two hours inland from Mackay, QLD.
This role is responsible for providing a high level of administrative support in the areas of rostering, staffing, food safety, stock control management, reporting and other administrative tasks related to the catering department. Full-time, permanent positions consisting of on-going rotating roster (14-7 or 5-2 options).

Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate, along with the Catering Manager, labour hire requirements, staffing roster of catering department team members which includes staff inductions, competencies training and development, as well as authorising and reconciling timesheets.
  • To accurately order food products in line with Civeo systems, policies and procedures.
  • Manage all kitchen administrative and maintenance requests as required.
  • To coordinate, along with village management team, all food safety and HACCP documents and relevant system monitoring & compliance activities.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks which may include entering monthly stock take reports, updating work instructions procedures and completing wastage reports.
  • To coordinate satisfactory stock levels are always maintained and available to guests, and continuously seeking improvements in product lines and product quality.Any other required duties as required.
