REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology
  • 3 years’ experience in a technical position servicing electro-mechanical devices
  • Flexibility to travel for on-site service visits up to 30%, when needed
  • Knowledge of digital printing industry such as industrial inkjet technology, RIP/color management, materials/ ink / chemicals, experience in textile printing is an advantage
  • Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office Products
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in under pressure and time constraints
  • Team player
  • Self-motivating personality
  • Good communication and customer management skills
  • Required language skills: fluent in English and preferably German. Speaking additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian, Polish) are advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional 1st level technical support to customers experiencing issues related to their Kornit Digital printers and application software over the phone and email using remote tools, e.g. remote controlling Kornit Digital systems, retrieving log files and setting information, correcting, and adjusting settings
  • Ability to trouble shoot and diagnose Hardware and Software faults
  • Accurate reporting of incoming cases
  • Ensure continuous and professional communication in the team and with teams and colleagues from other departments/areas of business at Kornit Digital.
  • Active use and constant optimization of all processes and documentation in his/her area of responsibility.
  • Prepare and share documentation based on solutions reached, creating technical documentation
  • Apply upgrades and product modifications as implemented by the product line
  • Participate in support hotline coverage, including support during extended service hours according to a defined schedule
  • Document all activities described here using the systems and tools provided by Kornit for this purpose, currently salesforce.com service modules
  • Ensure proper escalations of cases, follow ups and updates
  • Promote Kornit’s service offerings such as service contracts, trainings, and maintenance programs among our customers
  • Take on other appropriate tasks and related duties in accordance with the superior’s instructions as required
