Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, with a preference for candidates with prior software engineering backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness.
  • A proactive approach to personal and professional development, with a willingness to seek and act on feedback.
  • Engagement in continuous learning activities within the technical domain, such as reading industry publications and participating in relevant forums or groups.
  • A track record of innovation and problem-solving, with an emphasis on proactive problem identification and application of best practices.
  • Proficient debugging and coding skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in developing secure applications and adherence to security standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for code and technical processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to develop high-quality and testable code aligned with the team’s Definition of Done criteria.
  • Commit to achieving team sprint goals and actively participate in sprint planning and execution.
  • Embrace a Test-First methodology, prioritizing the creation of tests prior to writing code, wherever applicable.
  • Engage in thorough design and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Utilize and possibly develop automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Review test plans and actively contribute to end-of-sprint demonstrations.
  • Take on specific tasks related to integration, testing, and deployment as assigned.
  • Work closely with product management to accurately scope and estimate enhancements.
  • Design and implement software features, conduct unit testing, and address defects, focusing on component/feature level work.
  • Identify and fix software defects, adhering to a systematic process, whether they are internally found or reported by customers.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed or assigned, contributing to the teams success.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a commitment to integrity and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
