About the Role
SciBite’s semantic analytics are implemented for life sciences clients. This expands and secures customer relationships with teams. They facilitate technical discussions and provide product demonstrations to scope out projects.

Responsibilities

  • Primary “hands-on” responsibility for delivery of customer deployments
  • coordinating with internal teams (Dev and Prod), as well as customer teams (infra and system owners) for successful deployment.
  • Advising on adjusting parameters to improve system performance.
  • Documenting change management procedures, internal knowledge, and customer workflow databases.
  • Collaborateing with teams and stakeholders for support and coordination of Agile/Scrum documentation and communication.
  • Maintaining Customer requirements/test cases/customer workflows and customization testing
  • Collaborating/coordinating with other Deployment/Configuration Engineers, Testing engineers, Software Development,
  • Acting as primary technical Elsevier point of contact for customers during integration projects

Requirements

  • Experience in and understanding of Life Sciences/Bioinformatics. Familiarity with technologies and trends in industry.
  • Experience working with informatics software required.
  • Experience with multiple Cloud computing architectures (AWS, Kubernetes, Azure).
  • Experience with deployment architectures (Docker, AWS, Jenkins, Terraform, Puppet/Hiera)
  • Demonstrate Linux Operating System, SharePoint, REST API.
  • Ideal candidates should possess experience in Python, R, Shell, machine learning, and enterprise software development. GO knowledge is also highly favored.
  • Experience in the configuration of Web Servers (NGINX, Apache) and proxy configuration.
  • Understand Agile software development process and software management/deployment tools such as maven, git, etc.
  • Managing ongoing/maintenance phase for completed professional services project.
