ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

Our Remuneration and HR Reporting Specialist role is a permanent full-time position based in our Zetland office. Critical components of the role include accurate and timely payroll processing, HR analytics, HR compliance reporting and ensuring global compliance requirements are met at a local level.. This role is also responsible for providing advice on the remuneration and benefits strategy, manage the annual salary and performance review and provide general support for the HR team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a key point of contact within the HR Team on all foreign service employee (FSE) enquiries, including accurate and timely payroll processing, liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as VW Group Global Mobility and external tax and immigration consultants.
  • Lead local payroll, including liaising with an external payroll provider and VGA Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Prepare and conduct all HR and compliance (local and global) reporting including WGEA, and any ad hoc requirements
  • Conduct salary surveys and market analysis in line with Korn Ferry data to make informed remuneration decisions for the business
  • Provide support to employees on remuneration and benefits related enquiries
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders including Integrity, Risk and Compliance and Business Operations to ensure compliance with policies, processes, and procedures are upheld adequately
  • Provide support on ad hoc HR projects as required

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

  • Tertiary education in Business, Human Resources or equivalent preferred
  • Strong experience within HR, particularly Remuneration and Benefits and/or Payroll
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Fair Work Act, including National Employment Standards and Modern Awards
  • Extensive communication skills written and verbal as well as Microsoft Office exposure, especially intermediate Microsoft Excel level
  • Experience with the Korn Ferry job evaluation methodology, including job evaluation accreditation is desirable
  • In depth understanding of HR programs, practices and procedures in a corporate environment
  • High attention to detail, time management and prioritisation skills to work on multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously
  • Pro-active with solid analytical skills and the ability to identify continuous improvement opportunitie
