Description:
JOB ADVERT SUMMARY
The ideal person will oversee the complete process at the Rendering Department and working closely with other departments to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12/ N3 or Diploma/ Degree
- 6 months to 1 year proven and verifiable experience in the Rendering department.
- HACCP Knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for total production, yield, and boilers at Rendering plant
- Report mechanical and electrical break downs and coordinate execution
- Minimize down time.
- Production planning
- Leading subordinates on new projects
- General house keeping
- Evaluate equipment performance.
- Health and Safety requirements as required by statutory occupational health standards.
- Drive HACCP together with maintenance manager
- Daily/weekly inspections in different area’s
- Oversee cooking bagging and chemical process in plant.
- Monitor boiler efficiency.
- Monitor, order and save chemicals.
- Monitor and save water usage to boiler and processing plant.
- Disciplinary hearings and grievances
