Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Repair Center Supervisor is responsible for leading, coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Repair Center, and Setup and Refurb Department. This position is a working supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. Required to frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
The Team Member is occasionally required to lift and/or move 10+ pounds, sit; stoop, bend and kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)

  • High School Degree / GED, Associates Degree preferred in Electro-Mechanical / Operations.
  • 3+ year experience in supervision, team development and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot ATM / part issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, written/verbal with internal and external contacts.
  • Proven ability to be organized, detailed, multi-tasker, critical thinker, accurate, thorough and a problem-solver.
  • Ability to adapt to change in the workplace or assignment of duties

Responsibilities:

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the Repair Center, Setup and Refurb Department.
  • Supervises repair center technicians, and setup and refurb technicians.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations, and facilitates team development.
  • Handles discipline and coaching of Team Members in accordance with company policy.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support a safe work environment, practicing safe working techniques, and compliance to safety programs.
  • Ensure products meet or exceed quality and performance standards, improve efficiency within processes and procedures and continually improve through the use of Lean and Quality Assurance methods, processes and tools.
  • Coordination with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure parts are ordered, available, and correct.
  • Prepare work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for team.
  • Interpret and communicate department work procedures and policies to team.
  • Manage team metrics, execute continuous improvement and change initiatives.
  • Coordinate activities with other supervisory personnel or with other work units or departments as required.
  • Operate as a team player and help to unify the team.
  • Applies Change Management methodology as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate a competence and comprehension of expectations to sign off on setups prior to shipping.
  • Identify and improve operating processes across the department; including establishing best practices.
  • When issues arise, identify the root cause of the issue, and help provide corrective action.
  • Assist the Service Center Manager in the following:
  • Production planning as needed to meet projected deadlines
  • Project coordination and implementation
  • Maintain appropriate budgetary goals
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
