We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Management Information Systems (MIS) Reporting Lead to join our Group Strategy & Growth team. As a critical member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistent view of growth and market data across the organisation and for developing a central repository of customer and competitor insight. You will also support the business by translating data into usable intelligence, developing insightful reports, and providing analytical support on team initiatives.
Sitting at the heart of the business, you will work as part of the global organisation – with significant opportunities for professional development, learning, and exposure to some of the most complex and interesting issues facing governments around the world.
Main responsibilities of the role include: Improve global standard of reporting to incorporate different divisional standards, collaborating with the Market Development Director, Divisional data teams and Senior leadership across the group to lead on the design and delivery of key content. Be responsible for the delivery of consistent and up to date growth data across the Group, using a range of software tools (including Power BI, Power Automate & MS Dynamics) to derive insights from Serco’s global growth data, including analysis of pipeline, win rates, revenues, and profits. Build out central repository of customer & competitor insight, global market data and trend analysis to support the Group Strategy & Growth team with regular, meaningful, and actionable insights. Develop insightful dashboards and visualisation for a wide range of business use cases. Represent Group Strategy & Growth team in technology strategy roadmap discussions to ensure growth related use cases are addressed. Support the Strategy & Growth team with ad-hoc projects including data analysis, business engagement, or quantitative inputs for completion.

Responsibilities:

A passion for data analysis and strong attention to detail, combined with a creative outlook on bringing the information to life to an audience who are not necessarily skilled in data use. Demonstrated experience of leading the design and delivery of cross-functional workstreams or projects that involve collaborating with stakeholders at all levels (up to C-suite). Strong MS Office skills, including advanced use of Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate, including building data flows, automating workflows, DAX, Power Query, developing production-grade data visualisation dashboards, and creating and maintaining reports for a wide range of business users. Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM system to derive data insights. Knowledge of query languages such as SQL.
