Are you a skilled and experienced Reporting Radiographer looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Look no further! We are looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic team in Powys.
At Powys Teaching Health Board, we pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care and diagnostic accuracy. As a Reporting Radiographer with us, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide high quality medical imaging services.
Full time and part time hours considered. Base negotiable
Remote Working will also be considered.
This post is advertised as a Band 7, however applicants who do not currently hold all the necessary competencies to a Band 7 level are encouraged to apply and, if successful, will be appointed under Annex 21 rules whereby 75% of the top of Band 7 will be payable during the first 12 months or until band 7 competencies have been completed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
MSc relevant to speciality (or working towards relevant MSc)
PGC in reporting
Registration with the appropriate professional body.
Extensive experience in reporting radiography.
Proficient in the use of radiographic imaging software and reporting systems.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills with a collaborative nature and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Passion for teaching and supporting others in their professional growth.

Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and timely radiographic examinations.
Analyse and interpret radiographic images, providing comprehensive and detailed reports.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in radiographic techniques and technology.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
Serve as a mentor and resource for radiographers, offering guidance and support.
Develop and deliver educational sessions, workshops, and training programs for the radiographic and wider healthcare team.
