BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Join a talented team delivering immersive virtual environments and industry leading simulation-based training solutions for the world’s top manufacturers and training organizations. CM Labs Simulations is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Business Development Representative and dynamically grow our existing base of customers. The position calls for an entrepreneurial self-starter with tenacity and ambition.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; a technical background
  • Experience in tech or software sales related environment an asset
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • A thirst for knowledge regarding products as well as selling techniques
  • Strong resilience skills and determination traits
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with a dynamic personality
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Salesforce CRM experience as asset
  • Experience in working with marketing teams to build programs is also an asset
  • Bilingual with excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills in both English and French.
  • Hybrid working model with minimum two days in office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or solicit new potential customers
  • Initiate contact with potential customers through cold calling or other outbound methods
  • Create relationships with prospects to identify their potential needs and qualify their interest and viability to drive sales
  • Work closely with other teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct prospect engagement and insight tools
  • Present product information to prospects once needs have been identified
  • Be the first point of contact for all inbound inquiries
  • Move solid leads through the marketing funnel, by arranging in person demos, responding to questions and connecting them with a sales rep
  • Perform regular follow-up calls or emails
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing executives to ensure the company goals and targets are met
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients ensuring all communications are logged, and information is accurate
