In this role, you will be part of development projects of battery systems for our clients. As systems engineer you will be responsible for the technical coordination of the system development process covering management of external stakeholders to ensure that internal development stakeholders are aligned on requirements and system architecture along the development process.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and coordination of the project-independent system requirements in close exchange with the system engineers and product managers
  • Identification of relevant directives/norms/standards in cooperation with product management
  • Specification and maintenance of project-independent stakeholder requirements inside the company
  • Specifying of system-level requirements with focus on functional and software relevant requirements
  • Continuous optimization of the requirement processes, the review processes and the associated configurations
  • Initialization of new projects in Polarion and project-specific configuration
  • Organization and moderation of requirements reviews, as well as implementation of peer reviews at system level
  • Analysis and presentation of the maturity of requirements for relevant project milestones, including the derivation of recommendations for action in the project team
  • Evtl. moderation of security analyses

Your profile

  • Degree in electrical engineering or comparable
  • Professional experience, particularly in requirements engineering or system development
  • Knowledge of common product development methodologies
  • Good knowledge of Polarion or comparable requirement management tools
  • Ideally good knowledge of creating FMEAs and handling the APIS IQ-FMEA tool
  • Ideally technical experience in the field of battery management systems
  • Structured way of working and a high degree of self-organization
  • Very good communication skills in German and English
  • Ability to work in a team
