Research Analyst

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ideally 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience, but open to fresh graduates as well
• Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in statistical/data analytics software
• Ability to handle statistical analysis and manipulate large data sets
• Strong verbal and written communication proficiency
• Familiarity with real estate markets is preferable but not mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, computer science or related field

• Data Analysis : Utilize advanced R/Stata/Python programming to perform statistical analysis and data manipulation, aiming to extract meaningful insights and trends that support investment strategies or identify promising markets or sectors.
• Dashboard Development & Data Visualization: Leverage data visualization tools such as PowerBI and ESRI to design and implement insightful dashboards, providing valuable observations and informing decision-making processes.
• Market Research & Strategy: Gather and analyze regional/local economic and real estate market data to monitor trends and generate forward-looking insights.
• Report Writing & Presentation : Craft detailed reports and market debriefs to communicate views on real estate fundamentals and potential returns across the region. Develop research papers and presentations for client and public consumption, building and molding AEW Research’s brand presence.
• Investment Strategy Development : Assist in formulating investment strategy recommendations, assessing portfolio risk, and partake in setting investment objectives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
