THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a full-time or part-time Research and Administration Assistant to join our Occupational and Dust Disease Department - Oakleigh Head Office.
You will provide crucial administrative support, undertake research, prepare and maintain databases and registers and assist in the functioning of the Occupational and Dust Disease Department.
Responsibilities:
- Collate responses to client questionnaires and maintain database registers, in relation to occupational and dust disease clients and matters.
- Occasional client contact to request and collate information.
- Scan and sort documents, as well as extract documents from bundles, and name and file these under correct classifications.
- Undertake FOI requests, send and follow-up for occupational and dust disease questionnaires and compile briefs.
- Undertake and supply the legal team with appropriate legal and/or scientific research, past cases.
- Help build and maintain the Occupational and Dust Disease Department library of resources and list of contacts.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
- Follow instructions of direct supervisor.
