JOB SUMMARY
The research and quality management support specialist is responsible for assisting Research and Quality Management team members, branch employees, and back-office internal departments in daily tasks
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 years financial institution experience engaging with members related to product offering.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA’S)
A representation of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.
- Knowledge of process, procedures, and requirements to respond to requests.
- Ability to perform duties under minimal supervision and actively engage with manager and related departments within the credit union to resolve issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work.
- Ability to professionally handle confidential and sensitive information, natural tendency towards discretion.
- Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated ability to interact with anticipated audiences in a courteous, service-oriented manner.
- Collaborative team player, capable of working well with others, but also autonomously as needed.
- Develops trust-based relationships with branches, members, and internal partners

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supports legal process and support specialists.
- Manages follow up support for deceased members.
- Reviews documentation for new accounts and special account ownership changes for accuracy; reports discrepancies to branches and other back-office departments.
- Provides backup support to quality management clerk.
- Processes incoming checks received by mail and scans checks through branch capture.
- Assists with returned mail and address maintenance.
