Description:
Research Assistant/Associate under Prof Lim Kah Leong’s lab at LKCMedicine
This opening will support the Neuroscience and Mental Health Programme administration (overseeing research expenditure, preparing reports, etc.) including supporting the administrative needs of the NRF CRP grant.
Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day administrative support of the Neuroscience and Mental Health Programme
- Arranging research meetings, workshops and symposiums.
- Helping to take minutes for programme meetings.
- Facilitate the preparation of draft research collaboration agreements and liaising with the Research Contracts team at Research Administration and Support Services.
- Administer the Programme budget.
- Oversee and manage the implementation of research agreements according to project schedule.
- Ensure project deliverables are aligned with grant requirements.
- Tracking of research project expenditure
- Provision of quarterly updates on high-impact publications, media release, external appointments and membership of the programme members.
- Maintaining the Neuroscience & Mental Health Programme intranet webpage.
- Aligning collaborative requirements with institutional requirements.
- Communicating with NTU legal office with collaborative requirements and assist with draft of research agreements.
Competencies and requirements:
- Degree holder in Science.
- Good command of English and interpersonal skills (i.e. comfortable working in a cosmopolitan environment).
- Able to work in a team.
- Highly driven, independent and resourceful.
- At least 5-6 years’ of research administration experience (includes reviewing of research agreements, managing clinical studies/trials) in a research and/or healthcare setting.
- Responsible, punctual (able to meet deadlines) with warm personality individual preferred.
