The employee’s primary function will be to assist with my research on Indigenous Legal Traditions and/or on Legal Theory. Specific tasks include independent and group research, memo writing, reading Anishinaabe stories, and database records generation. In addition, all RAs are expected to assist with minor administrative tasks which support my research.
Qualifications Required: Background in Indigenous Legal Traditions is a must. Familiarity with jurisprudence, Access databases, and Anishinaabe stories are assets, but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of team is a necessity.
Weekly hours: 25-30 - as discussed at the time of hire.
Contract start & end dates: to be confirmed at the time of hire.
