SUMMARY

Reporting to the Laboratory Group Leader, the Research Assistant will work as part of a team focused on the characterization of the cellular and humoral immune response. The main responsibilities include flow cytometry, viral neutralization assays and ELISA assays. Moreover, the Research Assistant will work closely with Principal Scientists.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in life sciences such as biology, medical biology or biochemistry/biotechnology.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

  • One or two years experience in techniques related to cellular and humoral immunology is preferred;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in scheduling;
  • Willingness to participate actively in the creation, implementation and continuous improvement of laboratory processes;
  • Willingness to work in a Quality environment (ISO17025, GCLP, GMP) and apply good documentation procedures (GDP);
  • Working knowledge of spoken and written French and written English. Knowledge of spoken English is an asset.
