Description:

The primary purpose of the Research Assistant I (RAI) will be to provide technical assistance in carrying out various research projects which involves mouse study.
1. Performing and assisting in animal experiments (breeding, weening, ear tagging, genotyping, Imaging, tissue harvesting, injections, downstream processing and analysis)
2. Performs animal maintenance (safety protocols and standards, record keeping of animal inventory)
3. Coordinates with postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and scientists on ongoing project goals as needed
4. Basic molecular biology techniques (RNA, DNA and protein isolation) including Western blotting and PCR (e.g genotyping and other) and cell culture.
5. Willing to learn and perform basic and advanced molecular techniques (multiplex immunofluorescence, CyTOF, single cell sequencing, RNAScope and 10X platforms).
