Description:
The Department of Neurology is seeking a Research Assistant for the Division of Cogntiive Neurology. The Research Assistant (RA) position will be directly involved in the analyses and secured storage of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) using specialized computer software.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline (Neuroscience, Psychology, Computer Science, Statistics).
- Familiarity with software coding (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and fluent with various MRI software packages (SPM, FSL, Freesurfer, etc.).
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Related experience in neuroimaging methods and analyses, statistical software (e.g., SPSS), Microsoft Office, data management (using REDCap), and manuscript writing.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the PI on the process of quantification of MRI datasets.
- Adhere to documentation practices for standard operating procedures.
