Responsibilities:
- Quantum chemical simulation of chemical gas phase etching of silicon and silicon dioxide
- Quantum chemical simulation of catalytic effects in chemical gas phase etching of silicon and silicon dioxide
- Development of atomistic models of the surface-processes related to gas-phase etching of silicon and silicon dioxide
- Model-based screening of potential etchants and catalysts with focus on sustainability (optionally supported by machine learning methods)
- Contribution to model-based sustainability assessment and life-cycle-analysis
- Adaption and improvement of simulation methods and tools
- Publication of results in scientific journals and presentation on conferences
- Cooperation with national and international partners within the European project “Novel approaches for halogen-free and sustainable etching of Silicon and Glass
