Research Assistant (Maternity Cover 12-months)

This role will contribute to the advancement of dsm-firmenich by executing and assisting in analyzing pre-clinical research related to human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs).

• You will be working in a microbiology lab and assist with cell biology-based assays.
• Your primary focus will be in vitro fermentations and related assays, supporting the Early Life Nutrition and other segments in the Health, Nutrition and Care business unit of dsm-firmenich.
• You will work with a range of in vitro experiments to help showcase potential health advantages of HMOs and potentially other ingredients.
• In addition, you will support the team with procurement and ad hoc administrative tasks.
• You will also be part of structuring our physical and digital work-flow by generating SOPs, inventory systems and freezer catalogues.
• You will be part of supporting client and customer collaborations and promoting the team and our data internally to our colleagues in
• regulatory, commercial, and other R&D teams.
