Description:

Role Type: Part time contract (30.4 hours per week) until end of March 2025
Salary: $82,000 - $100,000 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a dedicated professional for an exciting initiative aimed at understanding the neurodevelopmental needs of patients with Childhood Onset Heart Disease (CoHD). This role is integral to co-designing a new model of care to support families comprehensively. Despite widespread recognition of the importance of addressing these issues across the lifespan, the current provision of neurodevelopmental care and combined child and parent mental health support is fragmented and insufficient to meet CoHD patients’ needs.
The successful candidate will play a central role in a funded study focused on characterising the needs of Victorian children. This position involves collaboration with stakeholders from the Royal Children’s Hospital and regional partners. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to identify unmet needs, learning from the experiences of families of children with CoHD who have engaged with the COCOON model of care from inpatient treatment to ongoing follow-up throughout childhood.
This is a part-time role (0.8 FTE) and is maximum term until March 30, 2025 (project end).
What’s in it for you?
Maximise your pay through salary packaging including entertainment and novated leases
Work with a multidisciplinary team, including stakeholders from the Royal Children’s Hospital and regional partners, fostering a rich professional network
Gain unique insights and experience in neurodevelopmental care and family-centered health models, enhancing your expertise and career development
Join a supportive and dynamic work environment dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes for children and families
Enjoy the flexibility of a part-time position, allowing for a healthy work life balance
Play a crucial role in shaping the future of care for children with Childhood Onset Heart Disease, contributing to a significant and meaningful initiative
