Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you passionate about advancing medical research and making a difference in the field of rheumatology? Join us at Monash University’s Rheumatology Research Team and be a pivotal part of ground-breaking projects.
As a Level A research-only academic, you will play a key role of important research initiatives under the mentorship and supervision of Associate Professor Alberta Hoi, Rheumatology Department at Monash Health and School of Clinical Sciences of Monash University. This is a 12-month position with potential for renewal. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in innovative but patient-centered research
- Ensuring adherence to ethical and governance standards
- Managing projects, from planning to execution, and ensuring timely completion
- Collecting and maintaining accurate research data
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to drive project success
- Learning about research tools such as STATA and RedCap to enhance project outcomes
- Supporting educational and advocacy efforts related to research activities
To qualify, you’ll need:
- An honours degree or higher in a relevant discipline, or equivalent research experience
- Understanding of various research methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Awareness of confidentiality and privacy principles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
