THE POSITION:
We are looking for a Research Assistant who is proficient in writing, skilled in data analysis, and has a strong background in statistics. Work time is flexible and working from home can be arranged. This is a 12-week job offer, an hourly rate of $22.45, maximum of 35 work hours weekly.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Proficient in writing, skilled in data analysis, with a strong background in statistics.
- Post-secondary education or higher (completed or in progress) in social work/clinical psychology.
- An experience in or background in qualitative research
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Transportation may be required when travelling between work sites.
- A Police Information Check, which includes a vulnerable sector search, is required (pr is in process of being completed) prior to employment
- A Child Intervention Record Check
Responsibilities:
- Literature review (library and online search for published research-based data and writing a literature review on a research topic of interest).
- Assists in the completion of ongoing research projects of the Agency.
- Interviewing participants of the study and collection of additional data relevant to the study.
- Data entry, data analysis, and writing of findings.
- Co-writing the research reports and preparing research findings for presentations.
- Reports to and will be supervised by the Director of Data and Outcomes.
