Description:

  • Completion of a relevant qualification and previous experience supporting a research project.
  • Proficient level of computer literacy with well-developed skills in Microsoft Office or equivalent applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and data collection.
  • Attend research meetings and training sessions.
  • Respond to routine enquiries related to research.
  • Liaise with study participants and follow-up by telephone/email/survey.
  • Perform routine tasks in the preparation of ethics and grant applications by reviewing and formatting abstracts and progress reports.
  • Undertake routine research support tasks consistent with established methodologies (may include lab or field work).
  • Format interview booklets, questionnaires, study materials, research manuscripts and conference presentations and posters.
  • Conduct event related duties including organising catering, registrations and audio visual.
  • Cooperate with all health & safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the psychosocial or physical health and safety of yourself or others.
